Band Biography for arficeden:

Arficeden were conceived in kendal. Stuart Metcalfe and Paul Metcalfe had been playing music together since they had been at school. From being in many projects together (one of which was 'Policy' with whom paul and stuart played alongside Tom Lee Mann and old friend Tom Poole) Arficeden was to be the one project they put all there effort into. originally writing mellow acoustic/singer songwriter with dash's of electronics type stuff they finally found there sound with the help of friend Dan Payne joining on drums. They had always been interested by hardcore rock music so they started to write some different songs like that. None of the members were interested in lyrics but were very interested in crazy time changes and the atmospheres which can be created within a song. You really need to see them live to get an idea of just how good their compositions are.
