Band Biography for bear mask:

Bear Mask are a new five-piece indie/electronica outfit based in Leeds. Having recently played their first few gigs in Leeds and one in London they are now working on completing their debut EP 'A Million Boats' and have since been featured on Tom Robinson's BBC Introducing radio show. A mixed bunch of classical music students, music production students, psychology students and graphics students, the band met when three thirds of the group moved to Leeds after finishing at The BRIT School in South London. The school, who's claims to fame include Amy Winehouse, Adele and Imogen Heap, gave the three many exciting performance oppurtunities including Camden Roundhouse, The Royal Festival Hall and the Left Field stage at Glastonbury. Singer Dan who on the contrary had never been on stage in his life failed to disappoint when the band played their first gig at The Faversham in Leeds, supporting the Just Handshakes/Yonderboy joint single launch. The Bear Mask sound has been described as having 'a hint of 80s and indie' with an 'infectious blend of powerful synth chords, awesome guitar and singalong vocals'.
