1) Belladonna are an Italian rock noir band that formed during February 2005 in Rome, Italy.

The current members of the band are co-founders Luana (lead vocals) and Dani (guitar), as well as Alice (piano), Tam (bass), and Alex (drums).

In their debut album, Metaphysical Attraction, Belladonna defined a new genre of music: rocknoir.

Exploring such themes as murder, mystery, reincarnation, and magic, Belladonna quickly found a fan base on MySpace.com. In 2005 the band was receiving thousands of plays of various tracks on their MySpace player a day. By 2006, Belladonna’s music on MySpace became so popular that they were the most played unsigned Italian band on MySpace.

In 2007, two tracks from Belladonna’s album Metaphysical Attraction, “Black Swan” and “Foreverland“, were included in the Grammy Awards 2008. Both songs were nominated for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals (Category 16). In addition, “Foreverland” was also nominated in Category 20: Best Rock Song.

2) Belladonna was the name used for the solo work of ex-Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna. Joey is well known for vocal range which has similarities to Steve Perry of Journey. This band continued the thrash and heavy metal sound that played with Anthrax, but with another concepts and lyrical themes.

Joey released 4 albums under the name Belladonna:

* Belladonna (1995). The backing musicians include Darin Scott on guitar, Joe Andrews was credited on bass guitar but did not perform on the recording, and Scott Schroeter on drums.

* Spells of Fear (1998). The backing musicians include Peter Scheithauer on guitar, Fleisch on bass guitar, and Stet Howland on drums.

* 03 (2003). Includes co-writer Matt Zuber on lead, rhythm and bass guitars mattZuber.com, Joey Belladonna plays the drums.

* Artifacts I and Artifacts II (2004, originnaly recorded in 1993). Backing musicians include Paul Crook (guitar), Paul Mocci (bass) and Jeff Tortora (drums). The tracks are demo versions for Belladonna album recorded in 1992. Some songs are previously unreleased.

4) Belladonna is a DJ / producer Maurizio from Italy.
He can be defined as a pioneer DJ in the field of dance music, where since latest 70's he worked in, playing in many small clubs in Perugia until arriving to work in a famous dance club, where he played from 1975 to 1998 funky, disco and afro music, influencing the formation of many famous house music DJ's. In 1998 he understood that he was having enough of that "contaminated" ambient, and so he decided to work by himself opening a recording studio and putting into music his idea of dance philosophy. Two years later his first album "Housin' Paradise" was printed and published by Irma Records, having a certain success and opening for Maurizio many new opportunities to work as a DJ also playing in many foreign countries. His sets range from Tribal-Trance, Nu House, Nu Jazz. In latest years with his lp's, singles and rmx he contributed to the increase of the world dance music scene.
