Band Biography for Buffalo Bones:

Buffalo Bones are a three-piece rock band making the noise of six. They formed at the start of 2010 when their first ever demo was selected for a local compilation CD in Leeds. The launch party for ‘A Collection of Calamity’ provided their stage debut, and since then they have been playing in and around the city whilst enjoying a few White Russians (the official band cocktail).

Taking influence from The Dead Weather, Beck and Queens of the Stone Age, the band aim to make a bone crunching, earth quaking, hip shaking sound. Chris spews out twisted space-blues from the guitar, Rob creates hypnotic bass grooves & Petter beats the life out of his drums, and into the music. They each developed their skills playing in bands in Bristol, Manchester & Vaasa – Finland respectively, and met on their first day of studying music Uni in Leeds. The three were thrown into an ensemble together and quickly bonded to a unit, born with desire to play live, hard and fast, and an ambition to put some danger and volume back into rock music.
