Band Biography for Ellen & The Escapades:

Being highly influenced by legendary folk acts such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Carole King, as well as more contemporary acts such as Ryan Adams, and Ray LaMontagne- to name but a few, Ellen and the Escapades have found a happy medium with their tight, down to earth, organic sound.

Having released their debut single Without You on their home-grown record label Branch Out Records in May 2009, the band have received plenty of attention, with plays on BBC Radio 2, Radio Leeds, and BBC Radio 6. Theyve sold out gigs here and abroad, played the prestigious BBC Introducing stage at Leeds and Reading Festivals, and had lots of nice people say lots of very nice things about them.

With a new release scheduled for spring 2010, Ellen and the Escapades will be looking to make a new mark with their throw back alt-country folk.
