Band Biography for fazhands:

Gaining universal support after his minimal tech-house was featured heavily on dance music blogs, Fazhands blew up at the beginning of 2009 when Tommie Sunshine dropped his Love Lockdown remix mid set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. A few days later, Kissy Sell Out re-editted Faz’s track to play on his BBC Radio 1 Show.

After the Flush EP dropped in February, Farhan Qureshi under the guise of Fazhands, embarked on a tour of North America, racking up support slots alongside Tiefschwarz and indie scenesters Hey Champ. Founder of the Prostitunes blog and part of the Pow! collective in Norwich where he attended University, he has played alongside the likes of Caspa & Rusko, Skream, Pendulum, Zane Lowe and the Utah Saints.

A fastidious producer, Qureshi was the first signing for Metamimetic, a label which he co-founded with Freddie Allen (SweetFA of the electronic music blog GottaDanceDirty.com).
