Foetal Juice started as an idea between Rob Harris, Ben Read and Ryan Whittaker in mid 2005. On a mission to destroy false new black/death metal spinoff bands, they started coming up with riffs, ideas for songs, band names and were joined by likeminded guitarist Andy, who had previously played with drummer Rob in heywood's death metal outfit 'Warnerve' and started to audition different singers in late 2005. Eventually they only had to do 1 audition with a little guy with a not so little voice, Ben's little brother Sam Read he sang once and came out with some ghastly growls and horrendous shrieks.

After about half a year of writing music, Andy parted ways with the band due to financial and commitment issues, the band were left without a lead guitarist and decided to rather than audition for another to just leave things how they were and concentrate on finding their sound as a four piece.

The 4-piece recorded their first 3 song demo in early 2007 called "Donna Kababy" which lyrically was highly influenced by fast food, serial killers and necrophilia. By the summer of 2007 they had played various shows and built up a healthy following opening for bands such as, Gutworm, Slit, Life Denied, Theoktony, Ingested, Sarpanitum, along with headlining their own shows with many other local metal acts.

During 2008 Foetal Juice continued to play shows throughout the North-West and moving into 2009, recorded their second demo ‘Consuming the Consumed’.
