Band Biography for into the abyss:

There are more then one band with this name.

(1) INTO THE ABYSS are one of the most wellknown underground Psychedelic Rock acts of the 90's. Their unique sound has established them as one of the most innovative new guitar oriented bands.
All through the past years INTO THE ABYSS have seen a few line-up changes. Since June 1998 the band consists of founding member Janis Kalifatidis (vocals, guitars and samples) plus Jens Gellner (drums), Mario Lang (bass) and the violin player Susanne Reinhardt.
The Greek-German band is based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

(2) Into The Abyss are six friends, and ex-members of various bands who got together to play music which is both crushing and technically challenging.

They are currently looking for gigs around the UK. Into The Abyss are based in Norwich, UK.

They have just recorded a demo at Studio 6 (Bring me the Horizon, Annotations of an Autopsy) so if you like the sound of what they do then go along to some of their shows and mosh the fuck out!
