Band Biography for joshua caole:

December 2010 marked the debut solo release of Joshua Caole. The EP 'Slow Hearts' is the culmination of the last three years spent touring the UK in other peoples bands (such as The School and James Apollo) and a need to return to the city of Cardiff to play music that was more dear to his heart. Produced by Llion Robertson (Al Lewis, Eugene Francis Jr, The Gentle Good), it features an array of Cardiff musicians (Sweet Baboo, Jack Egglestone from Future of the Left, Mark Foley) and lyrically contemplates the time spent away from his home city. Joshua's music has been likened to such featured on Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music, a reflection of his upbringing in the back rooms of deserted Forest Pubs and learning his trade from whoever he found there. Joshua’s music has been described as combining the songwriting of Ryan Adams with the fragility of Bright Eyes.
