Band Biography for My Sad Captains:

My Sad Captains are an alternative indie band from London, whose second album Fight Less, Win More was released in November 2011 on Stolen Recordings (Pete & The Pirates, Bo Ningen). Their debut Here & Elsewhere was released in 2009, also on Stolen Recordings; they had previously released two 7" singles- Bad Decisions, on Fortuna Pop!, and “All Hat and No Plans / Great Expectations”, on White Heat.

Over the past few years My Sad Captains have performed live at SXSW, End of the Road, the Bella Union stage at Hard Rock Calling and The Great Escape amongst others, as well as live on 6 Music and XFM. In November 2011, they supported Califone for several dates of their European tour and also performed at the Autumn Falls festival in Brussels.
