Band Biography for section 60:

Section 60 are a five piece indie alternative band from Sheffield with influences from the Manchester Music Scene who produce an intense, big noise & Comparisons have been made to the Verve at their melodic best, Oasis & Kasabian. Section 60 have risen in 2010 from a little known band to one of the largest crowd pullers in Sheffield. Releasing debut album “Is This Our Day in the Sunshine” in January on CD and major downloads the band has sold over 2000 copies to date and with over 60 gigs in 2010 peaking in November in an 850 Sold Out Headline gig at the Plug in Sheffield clearly demonstrating the bands rise and popularity. Section 60 will be touring and appearing at festivals up and down the country this year!
