Band Biography for the asa hawks:

The Asa Hawks are Katy Raine (vocals, rhythm guitar), Stephen Stewart (vocals, lead guitar), Simon Moran (drums), Dan Dummer (bass) and Giles Cooke (banjo).

The band have been playing together since August 2009, when Katy and Simon busted Stephen out of a convent in Northern Ireland, where he was being kept prisoner by a sect of killer nuns. A life on the run followed, where the intrepid threesome were joined by a variety of freaks who travelled with them awhile before tiring of the outlaw lifestyle and drifting away. Then, by chance one sunny afternoon on the road, they came across an escaped lunatic by the name of Dan, and a bare-footed, simple banjo player by the name of Giles, who were willing to play for bread and lodgings and the occasional spanking. Having now settled on a permanent line-up of scoundrels and ne'er do wells, the band are currently gigging and working on their first studio recording.

And those nuns? Let's just say The Hawks never stop looking over their shoulders.

Asa is pronounced 'Acer'.
