Band Biography for The Blades:

The Blades were a power pop group which formed in 1977 in Dublin, Ireland. The band's best known lineup was Paul Cleary (vocals, bass), Lar Cleary (guitar) and Pat Larkin (drums). This lineup split in 1981, but Paul Cleary reformed the band in 1982. This lineup featured Paul Cleary (vocals, guitar), Brian Foley (bass), Jake Reilly (drums) and a brass section. This lineup lasted until 1986.
