Band Biography for Yonderboy:

With a sound that is being compared to classic British acts such as The Smiths, Orange Juice and The Wedding Present, Yonderboy create melodic indie-pop that is as original as it is appealing. Despite being in their infancy as a group (forming Summer 2008), they have received much critical acclaim in their native city of Leeds, as well as supporting Frightened Rabbit, Slow Club, The Antlers, Japandroids, Wintersleep and The Twilight Sad, amongst others.
They released their debut single ‘Vast Ocean’ through Tip Toe Records in Sept 09, one half of a Ltd Edition Split 7” Vinyl with fellow Leeds indie-popsters Just Handshakes (We’re British), which has received praise from the likes of Drowned in Sound and This Is Fake DIY.
