Another week is upon us here in Leeds, and the city's venues are buzzing with an eclectic mix of sounds. Whether you're after a laid-back evening or a full-on sonic adventure, there's something to catch your ear.
This Week's Picks
Kicking off the week, Monday, 25 May 2026, sees Rosa Neather bringing a fabulous night of jazz and soul with an all-female line-up to Hyde Park Book Club. If you're looking for something a bit more raw, head to Oporto for LA SECURITE on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Also on Tuesday, the intimate setting of The Attic hosts Nora Brown & Stephanie Coleman for a folk evening, while The Domino Club celebrates a legend with Miles Davis 100.
Midweek offers a real treat. On Wednesday, 27 May 2026, Hyde Park Book Club hosts the final shows for algae bloom, a poignant end to a decade of music, with support from Kaddish and Cl. If you fancy something a bit different, the jazz/punk album launch from Vipertime x Moron Butler at Wharf Chambers sounds like a must-see. Over at the O2 Academy, catch Kiefer Sutherland on his 'Love Will Bring You Home' tour.
As we head towards the weekend, Thursday, 28 May 2026, brings the soulful sounds of Macy Gray to City Varieties. For those seeking a more local flavour, Futuresound Events presents The North at Hyde Park Book Club, tipped as one of the UK’s most exciting new acts.
The weekend is shaping up nicely. On Friday, 29 May 2026, the legendary D:REAM are set to grace the Brudenell Social Club, while Belgrave Music Hall welcomes the critically acclaimed Open Mike Eagle for a dose of thoughtful hip-hop. Also on Friday, O2 Academy Leeds hosts the much-anticipated Rainbow Kitten Surprise.
We round off the week on Saturday, 30 May 2026, with a diverse range of options. Belgrave Music Hall welcomes back the energetic noise-pop project WEATHERDAY – tickets are likely to go fast for this one. For a dose of alt-rock with grit, check out The Corvids at Hyde Park Book Club. And if you're after some serious groove, The Domino Club has The Domino Funk & Soul Band ready to get you moving.

Looking ahead, there's plenty to get excited about with some fresh announcements. Mark your calendars for Thursday, 13 August 2026, when L'Entourloop are set to bring their unique sound to Project House.
Later in the year, Friday, 30 October 2026, sees Midnight Gallery making their debut Leeds headline show at The Royal Park, following a well-received performance at Brudenell Social Club.
And for those already planning for next year, get ready for Superchunk at Brudenell Social Club on Saturday, 27 June 2026, as part of the 'Everywhere At Once' festival, celebrating grassroots venues. Also part of the same festival, Melanie Baker will be performing at Brudenell Social Club on Friday, 26 June 2026.
