Conscious Pilot is Joe Laycock, Emmy Leishman, Chris McCrory and Jack Sharp. While the band's identity is a culmination of the differences between each member, they are all bonded by a love of fast, immersive beats and flowing melodies. Featuring members of Cheap Teeth, Catholic Action and Big Girls Blouse, the group was formed in 2023 when songwriters Joe and Jack moved from their native Yorkshire to Glasgow. The band has since been particularly active in the UK's live music scene, having completed several tours in UK and making their first foray across Europe in 2025, culminating in two highly coveted performances at Hamburg's Reeperbahn Festival. After releasing two EPs via Devil Duck Records, "Epoxy Plains" and "Wipe Clean", the band are releasing their debut LP 'Human Poultry' on 8th May 2026.
