Jeanine

jeanine is a 3-piece indie group based between London and Leeds, characterised by their evocative storytelling and unique fusion of folk and rock with influences from jazz and blues. Their artistry is comparable to modern indie artists, such as: King Krule, English Teacher and Westside Cowboy.

The band members: Louis, Oscar & Will, bonded over their love of performing live and began to write music that combined all of their individual musical influences. In particular, their lyrical content draws inspiration from the timeless artistry of Bob Dylan and Elliott Smith. Their songs combine modernist themes with contemporary adaptations of folk pioneers to create a distinctive and authentic voice that bridges between the past and present.

Performing live will always be a key aspect of jeanine’s artistry. They have played countless independent music venues in major cities across the UK for a mixture of headline and support shows. A notable performance would be their EP Launch party, marking the release of Back Home in May of 2025.
