ALL WOMEN * ALL UNIQUE * ALL UNITED
Sisterhood is a collective of four female musicians who met through the Leeds music scene; Astraluna, Fuzzy Jones, Fran Wyburn and Miranda Arieh celebrate women in music through collaboration not competition.
Sisterhood live music events are uplifting, compelling and eclectic; each artist performs individually and then collectively as a band, accompanying each others songs both vocally and instrumentally. There is no headliner - Sisterhood aim to create an encouraging and supportive atmosphere for each other to perform their work.
As part of the event, the musicians also discuss issues that affect them individually as songwriters as well as wider issues that face women in the music industry.
Questions from the audience are also welcome! Expect passionate discussions on mental health, ageism and music as a way to encourage self-expression!
Gip and the band will be performing in the Shire Oak room.
Pay as you can. Suggested £5 but no one turned away for lack of funds.
