This Week's Picks
Kicking off the week with a relaxed start, Northern Guitars hosts its ever-popular Open Mic on Monday. It's the perfect low-key way to ease into the week and discover some local talent. If you're looking for something a little more intense on Tuesday, head to Brudenell Social Club for the experimental sounds of THEY ARE GUTTING A BODY OF WATER, or catch the buzz around Oxford Comma at Oporto, supported by Twinsize and CHAR.
Midweek sees a real cross-section of genres. For a dose of soulful neo-soul, catch Shania Sabrina at Hyde Park Book Club, bringing an all-diva support lineup with her. If reggae is more your thing, Omar Perry & Erm are set to bring the vibes to Headrow House. The Brudenell Social Club also has a solid offering with punk and new wave pioneers The Godfathers playing on Thursday, a true testament to their enduring legacy.
As we head into the weekend, Friday is packed. Indie fans shouldn't miss Coach Party at The Wardrobe, or the energetic sounds of Arm's Length at Project House. For a more intimate experience, jeanine will be weaving their folk-rock tales at Hyde Park Book Club.
Saturday brings a diverse range of sounds. The Brudenell Social Club welcomes MILITARIE GUN for what promises to be a powerful performance. If you're looking for something a bit more reflective, the beautiful VALENTINE'S PIANO BY CANDLELIGHT at Leeds Minster offers a unique experience. For a truly magical evening, don't miss Hayao Miyazaki's Dreams by Mystery Ensemble at St George's Church, a concert dedicated to the beloved anime composer. And if you're feeling the love, or just fancy a good time, Saturday night sees DMA'S celebrating the 10th anniversary of 'Hills End' at the O2 Academy Leeds, while The Beaches bring their energy to Leeds University.
Sunday winds down the week with some more excellent choices. The Brudenell Social Club is hosting both The Besnard lakes and LA LOM, offering a diverse sonic landscape. For a truly special acoustic set, check out Acoustic Powerhouse at Northern Guitars, featuring piano, ukulele, and soulful vocals.

Looking ahead, a few exciting announcements have landed that are definitely worth keeping an eye on. Get ready for some raw energy on Saturday 4th April 2026 at Wharf Chambers with Objections, Big Break, No Peeling, Small Gauge, a lineup promising post-punk power, garage bounce, and synth-punk thrills.
Mark your calendars for Saturday 14th March 2026 as JULIETTES make their Leeds debut at Northern Guitars, with free entry and promises of new material – sounds like a great night in the making.
For a taste of some serious indie cred, Friday 27th March 2026 sees Versus & Fathers Moustache at The Royal Park, promising a night of captivating music.
And for those who appreciate the deeper end of the musical spectrum, Saturday 14th November 2026 will see OMEGA NEBULA return to The Attic with an explosive live/electronic show, blending dub and reggae in a truly unique way.
